Marumba is an Italian singer and musician, widely known and constantly performing in Italy, but also konwn to be often touring abroad as he has been playing in a number of EU countries till now(England, Spain, Gemany, Switzerland, Netherlands, ...), promoting his composition enriched by social and cultural oriented lyrics which can be quite impactful.
He has released two albums so far: BY THE WAY (2012) featuring PearcyDread and THE RIGHT DIRECTION (2015) which features great artists like EARL16, Forelock, JOLEBALALLA, Deadly Hunta. Right before the last album (THE RIGHT DIRECTION, and to anticipate it, a single was released during 2014 by the title “YOU ROCK” featuring MC NAVIGATOR.
At the Heineken Jammin festival in 2011 Marumba reached a finalist position thanks to the track “BY THE WAY”.
He has collaborated with a number of international artists and succesfully warmed up the crowd several times for concerts of artists such as Alborosie, Natty Congo, Tarrus Riley and Dean Fraser, Lee Perry, just to name a few.
He has already participated to a number of festivals in Italy (Bababoom Festival, Rototom Festival Tsunami, Positive River, ...) and he is willing to keep working to expand his reach also to festivals and big events abroad. He currently is on tour with the Playmore band and he is available for bookings across EU.

Marumba es un músico y cantante italiano. Se ha formado en el jazz estudiando piano desde muy pequeño. Ha colaborado con varios artistas italianos y extranjeros acompañandolos en sus giras.
En 2012, la canción By the way" que da nombre al homónimo album publicado por la etiqueta Soulove Records, lo ha llevado a ser finalista del
Heineken Jammin’ Festival Contest. En los dos años sucesivos se exibe en Italia, España, Inglaterra, Alemania, Suiza y Holanda promocionando sus producciones enriquecidas por unos textos de gran impacto social y cultural.
En 2015 publica su segundo album, “The right direction” , con la participación de diferentes cantantes jamaicanos, ingleses e italianos entre los cuales destacamos a Earl16, Forelock, Jolebalalla, Deadly Hunta y Navigator.
Ha colaborado con artistas de fama internacional y ha sido telonero de cantantes y bandas como Alborosie, Congo Natty, Tarrus Riley, Dean Fraser e Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, solo para nombrar a algunos. También ha participado a numerosos festivales italianos como Bababoom Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, Maremoto Festival y Positive River.
En 2017 trabaja en su nuevo disco “What do you know about history" compuesto de diez temas de roots, steppa e rub a dub. Actualmente se encuentra en tour con la banda Playmore.
